Britain has been at the cutting edge of musical fashion and style for over 50 years and it’s this achievement that Monkiejamm celebrate.
They pay tribute to groups such as The Who, The Kinks, The Move, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, who defined and shaped the 60’s sound. Contining through the 70’s and 80’s with Pink Floyd, The Police, The Jam, David Bowie, U2, T-Rex, The Specials, The Undertones, The Buzzcocks, Madness and The Clash.
Monkiejamm then take you through the British explosion of the 90’s that Oasis, Blur, James, Primal Scream, Radiohead, The Stereophonics and Supergrass provided.
All these groups contributed to inspire modern bands such as Coldplay, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Fratellis and Snow Patrol, which Monkiejamm tackle with the same enthusiasm.
No matter what style or decade, Monkiejamm deliver the rich and diverse sound of Britain in all it’s glory.
