Rick has been working within the design industry for over 30 years. He is a graphic designer by trade but has always had a natural talent for freehand illustration.
The caricature drawing came mainly from Rick producing comical drawings for family, friends and colleagues. After going freelance he decided to build the illustrations into his work. Rick produces studio based caricatures from photos for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, weddings and any other requested occasion.
Live events caricature entertainment seemed a natural progression for Rick and he soon became adept in producing caricatures on-the-spot and in the spot-light. He has attended corporate events, promotional events, graduations and weddings and by the reaction of his subjects and audiences, the illustrations are generally met with fun filled approval.
