Thea Butterworth
Thea is a talented young Harpist from Lincolnshire and has been playing for over 6 years, winning several competitions along the way. She is a sixth form student at the Menuhin School, a specialist school for music and a centre of excellence for the performing arts where she will study the harp, double bass and piano. She will also continue her studies with the Royal College of Music for orchestral work where in 2010 she played for Prince Charles and Lord Professor Robert Winston.
Thea has also played for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the National Children's Orchestra for over 5 years. She has toured extensively across Europe with the Lincolnshire Youth Symphony Orchestra where she continues to offer her support.
Thea can play at weddings or civil ceremonies, during the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast and has a growing repertoire of classical and popular music to suit. If you wish to discuss your music in more detail an appointment can be arranged if you desire.
